Made to match modern style australian chardonnay, specially the ones from Mornington Peninsula. Named after Ocean Eight Verve Chardonnay. Creamy body, fresh acidity och crispy textures matched with citrus aromas and saltiness matches the wine style perfectly. A winning combination!
Use your favorite pizza dough. The important thing is that the pizza is baked thin and crispy. Gently heat thinly sliced garlic in some olive oil until it softens. Throw down a couple of handfuls of fresh baby spinach and let soften from the heat and finally mix in a little mascarpone or cream cheese so it becomes creamy. Rub the rolled out dough with a little olive oil. Spread the spinach on top, cover with a few slices of prosciutto or parma ham. Crumble some chevré cheese into smaller pieces over the pizza. Top with very thinly sliced lemon (try to find one with thin peel) and finally sprinkle some grated parmesan over the pizza. Bake in hot oven until the lemon slices gets slightly browned.
